Performance Measures

To measure the Board's ability to process licensure applications in a timely manner, statistics are maintained to track the number of days it takes to acknowledge receipt of an application, the number of days it takes for an application to be completed, and the number of days it takes the Board to approve a completed application. This information is presented for each Section of the Board, as well as the aggregate data for all three Sections. The data contains the monthly information for all applications approved during that month.

Performance Measures as of June 30, 2015

The information presented calculates the median, mean, and range for each performance measurement category. Below is a definition of each measurement.

Median - the middle number in a given sequence of numbers, taken as the average of the two middle numbers when the sequence has an even number of numbers. (ex: 4 is the median of 1, 3, 4, 8, 9)

Mean - the arithmetic average. It is obtained by adding several quantities together and dividing the sum by the number of quantities. (ex: 4 is the mean of 1, 5, 2, 8)

Range - the smallest and largest number of days recorded in each category.
